Terms of Service

PhxTemplates and Aurora Meter are operated by Liam Killingback (“we”, “us”). These terms apply to phxtemplates.com, aurorameter.com, your account, the templates and the Builder Pass sold on phxtemplates.com, and the Aurora Meter Pro subscription sold on aurorameter.com. Creating an account or buying anything means you accept them.

Product licences (what you may do with a template or with Aurora Meter Pro) are set out separately in the licence terms, which form part of these terms. If the two conflict, the licence terms win for questions of use.

You need an account with a verified email to buy, download or subscribe. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it. One person, one account: you may not create additional accounts to obtain a second free trial, a second launch discount, or to get around a suspension.

Signing in on one of our sites can sign you in on the other through a short-lived, single-use link. That is the same account, not a new one.

Templates and the Builder Pass are one-time purchases billed through Stripe in US dollars. You get a perpetual licence to the version you bought, plus updates and support for the window described in the licence terms. Prices, sales and launch discounts can change at any time; the price you paid is the price you paid.

Aurora Meter Pro is a subscription billed through Stripe, monthly or yearly, licensed per application (the quantity on your subscription) or on the Unlimited plan for one organisation. Access to the private package repository, delivered as a Hex organisation key, lasts as long as the subscription is active or within its trial. When it ends, for any reason, the key is revoked; anything you have already deployed keeps running.

You can change the application count, switch plans, update your card or cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period except as set out in section 6.

Every Aurora Meter Pro plan starts with a 14-day free trial. A card is collected at checkout and nothing is charged until the trial ends; cancel before then and you pay nothing.

The trial can be claimed once per customer. A customer is a person or organisation, not an account or an email address. If you, an email alias of yours, or a card that has already been used for a trial starts another subscription, that subscription is billed from its first day. Where we detect this after checkout we end the trial immediately, charge the first invoice and tell you by email; the refund window in section 6 still applies, so you can undo it.

Every product carries a 14-day refund window, no questions asked for your first request: 14 days from a one-time purchase, or 14 days from the first invoice of a subscription. Ask from your account or by email. A refund revokes the entitlement (the download, or the package key) and cancels the subscription. Later renewals are not refundable, so cancel before the renewal date if you do not want the next period.

Do not share your package key or downloads outside your licence, republish a template as a template, scrape the sites, send abuse through the contact form, or interfere with the service. We can suspend or close an account that does, and refuse further purchases from anyone who repeatedly claims trials or refunds in bad faith.

The templates and Aurora Meter are provided as-is. We work hard to keep them correct and maintained and we fix real defects, but we do not promise they suit every purpose or run without error. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from these terms or a product is limited to the amount you paid us for that product in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes rights consumer law gives you that cannot be excluded.

We may update these terms; the effective date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use the sites after that is acceptance. Material changes to a subscription are announced by email before they take effect. You can close your account at any time by asking us; we can close it for breach of section 7.
